OLD SOUTH FARM DAYS

More than 5,000 people turned out to enjoy Danny Norman's Old South Farm Days at his Tea Grove Plantation in Walthourville, Georgia last March. Engine lovers came from as far away as Canada and Indiana to run their engines and trade stories of the good ol' days. People came from all around the Coastal Georgia farm to investigate the sounds made by the steam whistles and to tour the Normans' turn-of-the -century village complete with General Store, grist mill, blacksmith shop, railroad depot, and sawmill.
Danny plans to open his farm to the public again this March 15th and 16th. He has added many more rare and interesting items to his collection of tractors and engines including a 20-40 Rumely Oil-Pull, a 30-60 Keck-Gonnerman and a Fairbanks-Morse single cylinder diesel engine that will power the sawmill. Also, the Normans plan to have about a mile of track laid to run the 1890 Vulcan Steam locomotive.
At the March 1986 show there will be plenty of space for exhibitors, and Danny plans to put on a show you won't soon forget.
