Many of our steam engines are equipped with Pickering "Ball Ranger" governors but not many have seen the original factory instruction card that was sent with each governor.

Written information such as this is supplied in each steam school booklet for future reference. Joe Graziana will show the "secret" factory-supplied wrench used to adjust the governor valve and how to properly set the speed control.

Each student will receive a booklet of written material for future reference which will cost $10.00 or less.

If you are having a problem with a steam governor, mechanical lubricator or crosshead pump, bring it along, as the school staff will be available between classes and after school to answer questions and help solve problems. The classes will not be merely lectures but will be hands-on demonstrations.
